Hi Zoners.
Anyone of you been down here in Australia? if so, which City did you go to and which Tourist Attractions did you look at?
For those who never been here to Australia, I'll give a run down.
We have 6 States and 2 Territories, Canberra is the Nation's Capital, Melbourne and Sydney are the two most Livible cities in Australia.
We have Beaches, Football Stadiums, Baseball Stadiums and other Sporting grounds for your Sporting needs.
We have Music Theatres, Cinemas and other Fun entertainment places.
I hope to hear about your experiences if any.

i've not been- first because to get to australia i either have to fly for 24 hours (and i'm anxious about flying), or go on a boat that would probably take longer.

I've actually have always wanted to visit AUS..I can't explain exactly why though. Maybe it is cause of the stuff I've seen on tv about it..I'd like to experience, "the bush," as you say..and it just seems to have a lot of new and interesting experiences. :)
However, I don't know anyone there..thus I wouldn't go by myself.
Well, you should try coming to Australia, we're a friendly nation who has plenty of services that might help you out if you ever want to come here for a holiday. Once you're here, you'll feel as though you're in America all over again. We're just massively smaller than America. :)
ah, gotcha..more wilderness there it seems then here..
I have personally never been there but should I ever get the opportunity, I would not turn it down. I have never left the United States.
My grandparents' neighbor and her daughter went there this summer. I believe they stayed somewhere in Cidney. They said the food was different. Unfortunately they came back and had the flu. Figures since it is winter there when it is summer here.
oh man..that sucks they came back sick! i suppose I'd try to go when it is there spring/summer there.
Actually guys, try not Spring, even though it's beautiful and pretty much Fashion here during Spring (our famous Horse Racing Season) you catch a Flu, I'd recommend Autumn or Summer where it's perfect.
Nevertheless, I'd like to go to America one day but not sure when or where.
ah, gotcha..personally i love my state of Florida but I'd go in the winter, fall or spring. Florida summers are really hot and muggy. but if you like that kinda thing come on down! :)
Florida, Ohio, Colorado, California all States I'd visit, if I had the chance. :)
hi all! This is the first topic i post in LOL
Well, Australia has been my dream since i was 14. Now am 23, and am still dreaming of getting there one day. But if i'll get the possibility to realize this dream, i'd explore first the wild Australia and not the big cities because big cities are everywhere in the world but rainforests, wildparks or rare botanic gardens not. Oh, and am interested in Australian Indigenous cultures as well, since i've heard the Yolngu language in november 2011.
